Thanksgiving Game Free Printable: The Price Is Right
This Thanksgiving Game Free Printable: The Price Is Right is such fun! I mean, there’s a reason the television show The Price is Right has been popular for so long, right?!
This fun Thanksgiving game idea is great for all family members of all ages (except babies, I suppose LOL) and can be the springboard for all sorts of interesting conversations!
If you have people from various places or people from multiple generations, they can talk about how prices change from place to place and from generation to generation! It’s tremendous wholesome Thanksgiving fun!
To join in on the fun, I’ll go ahead and list my answers to serve as an example ANSWER KEY.
Still, unless you live in Southern California, these answers probably won’t apply to you, so when you want to play the game, you’ll want to look up (I just use the Internet!) your local prices.
Also, you might want to let people know what store(s) you’re using as your price listing because stores can vary in their item by item pricing!

So here are the rules of this fun Thanksgiving game!
How many players can play this Thanksgiving game?
2+ (You can play in pairs or as an entire group!)
What ages can play this Thanksgiving game?
Anyone can play if they can answer the questions so very young children can join in and give their cute little guesses if they can talk! 🙂
What is needed to play this Thanksgiving game?
The Thanksgiving Game Free Printable: The Price Is Right (available in this post!) and local prices of the Thanksgiving items listed on the printable!
Since prices vary, I did not include a price list (though in this post, I do list my local prices, just for fun!).
A fun addition to this game would be to have a couple of versions of prices if you have people visiting from out of town!
So if you are having Thanksgiving in New York and have family visiting from New Mexico, you could have two versions of the game!
The varying answers based on location would be fun to talk about! 🙂
Note: You may want to make it clear where you got the prices from as prices in places, stores, and product types vary.
For instance, I buy organic items so those prices would be different from non-organic versions, so I’d mention that to my players. 🙂
What are the rules of this Thanksgiving game?
Thanksgiving Game Play Set-Up:
Everyone gets a copy of the Thanksgiving Game Free Printable: The Price Is Right.
For extra fun, you could have some of the Thanksgiving items out for display, which can be especially helpful for children who might enjoy seeing and touching the items to help form their guesses!
For example, you could let the kids see, touch, and smell the frozen pie crust. You could even then let them bake something in that crust or play with the crust LOL.
Thanksgiving Game Play:
Everyone guesses the prices of the items listed on the Thanksgiving Game Free Printable: The Price Is Right.
After guessing the prices of each item, you can add up the total at the bottom of the printable. You may want to have calculators/cell phones ready, especially for children! This could be a fun math lesson! 🙂
Who wins the Thanksgiving game?
The person who correctly guessed the prices on Thanksgiving Game Free Printable: The Price Is Right wins!
You can change up how the winning is judged, though!
For instance, the winner can be determined by the total at the bottom, so the overall guessed total price being correct, OR you can award winners (and prizes?!) for individually guessed items!
If you award people for guessing individual prices correctly (guesses down to the cent!), you could maybe even give them a version of that item as the prize!
So the correct price guess of the football would win the football, and the correct price guess for the frozen pic crust wins a pie! 🙂

Printable Tips for Playing Perfect’s Thanksgiving Game Printable!
Here are my top tips for making the most of this free Thanksgiving game printable! 🙂
When you do print, I suggest considering the printer, the ink, and the paper.
Your printed printable might look different than mine due to our different printers, ink, and paper.
Of course, the higher quality printer, ink, and paper, the higher quality of the final product.
Given all the modern advances in printing, though, there’s a good chance that no matter what you’re using to print, you’ll probably love the results.
Here’s the printer I use and LOVE!!! (it’s totally worth all those exclamation marks): The Wireless EcoTank All-in-One with Cartridge-Free Printing and Auto Doc Feeder
- I’m so crazy about this printer because it has cartridge-free printing (!) which means I am never messing with those ink cartridges AND the ink it uses lasts for sooooooooo long I feel like I will never run out!
- The printer came with ink that might last years (I’ll have to give an update when I run out, but so far, I think the ink is going to last a super long time!)!
- The ink (that is included) can print up to 14,000 pages black/11,200 color (that’s sooooooooo much!!) which is equivalent to about 30 ink cartridge sets!
Wow, I hope I make 11,000 pages of printables so I can put this impressive printer to the full test LOL!
As far as paper, I usually use whatever is a good deal: Here are paper deals on Amazon.
BUT I know a lot of people prefer and suggest to print their printables (especially wall art) on high-quality card stock: Here are some cardstock options.
Again, printing results vary, so use the printer, ink, and paper that will get you the results you want. 🙂
